Network drives

The IT and Media Centre offers various network drives on its file server on which Leuphana University members can store data.

• Home directory: Every Leuphana-Accounts  holder can use storage space on a central server, termed a ‘home directory’ (20 GB for students, 50 GB for staff members).
  
  After logging in at one of the public workstations, you can access your personal home directory as network drive ‘S’: (for a Windows PC) or ‘Homes’ (for an Apple Macintosh).
  
  The storage space can also be accessed from outside. This requires a VPN connection. You will find further information in our manuals.

• Group drives: Departments and workgroups can set up a server drive to work together on one database.
