Research & Publish

We support you with various services in the planning and implementation of your research projects as well as the archiving and publication of your research data and research results.

Research Data Management

The Research Data Management section provides general and Leuphana specific information about the appropriate management of research data concerning your own research processes and results. The websites include relevant contacts, services and applications from Leuphana such as the institutional research data repository PubData as well as specific overviews on relevant topics related to your own research data management, from the planning and application process to data collection, preparation, archiving and publication.

Open Access

The aim of open access is to make scientific literature available on the Internet free of charge. We provide basic information on the topic of open access, provide information about funding opportunities via the Open Access Publication Fund, various publishing agreements and third-party funding, give recommendations regardinglegal aspects, point out criteria to identify quality journals and suggest helpful tools.

Publishing & Archiving with PubData

The platform PubData allows research data and publications created in the context of research, teaching, and studies at Leuphana University to be permanently archived and published worldwide free of charge. This includes theses, dissertations, reports, articles, multimedia, teaching materials, and other academic resources.

University Publications

We provide guidance on publishing dissertations and habilitation theses, accept mandatory copies, and issue receipts. We also support students in publishing theses, term papers, and other publication formats.

Research Information System

The research information system Pure provides documentation of Leuphana's research output. For example, journal articles, contributions to anthologies, monographs, translations, blog contributions, conference papers and legal commentaries are collected here and recorded by the authors themselves. The content can be made publicly visible and searchable via the research index FOX.

ORCID iD

By using the internationally recognised Open Researcher and Contributor iD (ORCID iD), researchers can be uniquely identified (despite having the same name or different spelling variants). In this way, this identifier guarantees a precise assignment of scientists to their research output and enables exact citation analyses. We will inform you about further advantages and the registration process.
