The library will be closed from 4 p.m. on December 23, 2025, until January 4, 2026.
During the closure, no media can be returned and the return box will not be available.
Returns can only be made by mail during this period. Media will be checked back in starting January 5, 2026, and the postmark will be considered the date of return.

Short-term loans can be borrowed from December 19, 2025 (all day) until January 5, 2026.
From January 5, 2026, we will be back to our regular opening hours from 8:30 a.m., with the foyer, workstations, and group study rooms opening at 8 a.m.
The electronic resources (e-books and databases) will remain available to university members via VPN during the closure period.
IT support / IT service
IT support for employees will be available until December 19, 2025, and will then close for the Christmas holidays. From January 5, 2026, services will be available during the usual opening hours.
The IT tutors (IT support for students) will also be available for technical support on site in the library foyer until December 19, 2025. After the turn of the year, the IT counter in the library will be open again from January 5, 2026.
Support requests sent by email to it-service@leuphana.de and it-tutor@leuphana.de can be processed to a limited extent on December 22 to December 23, 2025, and January 2, 2026.
myStudy Support
myStudy Support will be available until December 19, 2025 and will then close for the Christmas holidays. myStudy Support will be available again from January 5, 2026.
myCampus Support
myCampus Support will be available until December 19, 2025 and will then close for the Christmas holidays. myCampus Support will be available again from January 5, 2026.
Equipment lending
The MIZ device rental service will be open until December 19, 2025, and will then close for the Christmas holidays. Services will be available again from January 5, 2026.
