2026-06-19 Over the next three weeks, there will be ongoing power cuts in various areas of the reading room

During routine inspections of the sockets in the reading room, faults were identified in the reading room’s electricity supply which must be rectified immediately. To this end, the power to the sockets in various areas on the ground floor of the reading room must be switched off. The power will remain off until new electrical circuits have been installed in the reading room. This work is expected to be completed in approximately 3 weeks.
