On Wednesday, July 22, and Thursday, July 23, 2026, there will be power and internet outages in the library building between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.

Please note the following temporary restrictions to MIZ services:

Wednesday, July 22, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

  • The Wi-Fi on the ground floor of the foyer will not be available during this time.
  • The book return machine will be out of service. Please place returned books in the return box located under the staircase.
  • The library service desk will remain closed until 12:00 noon.
  • The IT Help Desk will remain closed until 12:00 noon.
  • The public restrooms in the MIZ foyer will not be available during this time.

Thursday, July 23, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

  • The Law collection will be without power, Wi-Fi, and lighting.
  • The printers in the reading room will not be available.
  • The open stacks will not be accessible. Upon request, staff at the information desk can retrieve books from this area for you.
