New: Scanning service for researchers at Leuphana

2026-07-24 New service from Leuphana’s MIZ supports researchers in digitising print materials

Leuphana’s MIZ supports researchers at Leuphana University in scanning entire book chapters, complete journal articles or sections of books up to 75 per cent for their own academic research, in accordance with Section 60c, Paragraph 2 of the German Copyright Act (UrhG). The MIZ supports the respective scanning project by providing staff and technical services. The scanning service is intended exclusively for academic staff at Leuphana University Lüneburg.

To use this service, you must first register by sending an informal email to scanservice-registrierung@leuphana.de

Once your registration has been confirmed, you can submit your scanning request via the scanning service form.
