Workshop: How Can Universities Set a Good Example of Antiracist Solidarity?

06. Dez

Sherif Mohyeldeen draws lessons and strategies from his first-hand experience with a racist and islamophobic crime while he was a Master student at Durham University on raising awareness of the importance of drafting policies to tackle racism in universities and how to back up students if they face racist attacks outside the university. As students, university staff and citizens we shall know how racism can have many negative impacts, yet it can be fought to decrease its impacts, through solidarity, and openness from the university, acknowledging it, and standing to it.
