Data protection is of particular concern to us. We process your personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data") in accordance with the legal requirements and would like to do this in a transparent manner. Purposes and legal bases of data processing:

1) Online registration form for the study aptitude test
Wenn Sie im Rahmen der Auswahltage an der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg am Studierfähigkeitstest und / oder dem Auswahlgespräch teilnehmen möchten, verwenden wir Ihren Namen, Vornamen, ggf. Ihre Bewerbernummer, Ihr Geburtsdatum, Angaben zum Geschlecht, Ihre E-Mail-Adresse und Ihre postalische Anschrift (Straße; Hausnummer, Postleitzahl, Ort und Land) zur Organisation Ihrer Teilnahme und anschließend zur Zuordnung des Ergebnisses zu Ihrer Bewerbung.

The data processing as a whole is carried out to perform the public interest task of carrying out the procedure for university admission and the enrolment of selection applicants. The legal basis for this processing is § 3 sentence 1 no. 1 of the Niedersächsisches 2 Data Protection Act (NDSG) in conjunction with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. e, para. 2 and 3 General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in conjunction with. § Section 17 (1) sentence 1 (3) of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act (NHG) in conjunction with Section 16 of the General Regulations of Leuphana University of Lüneburg for access and admission to the "Leuphana Bachelor" with all admission-restricted partial degree programs and Section 14 of the General Regulations of Leuphana University of Lüneburg for admission to all Bachelor degree programs with which the requirements for a teaching profession are taught (2-subject Bachelor).


2) Test evaluation Admission procedure
We also use your name and applicant data (surname, first name, date of birth, applicant number , fictitious applicant number if applicable) and your test results in the study aptitude test and, if applicable, if applicable selection interview for the performance of the public interest task of carrying out the selection procedure for university admission and the enrollment of applicants.

General information:
Even if you do not make use of your rights below, your data will be stored has been completed and for a further year thereafter. However, if you do not provide your data, you will not be able to take part in the study aptitude test, your test results will not be evaluated and therefore cannot included in the admission decision.

Since the selection decision is not made solely on the basis of your test results in the study aptitude test and, if applicable, the selection interview, automated decision-making including profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 (1) and (4) GDPR does not take place.

Your right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR:
