Social Work in the digital space: Certificate course
The program is offered in the German language and is thus directed at prospective students with a good command of German. The program’s German-language web pages provide detailed information needed on the content of the course and application procedures.
Digital environments have long been part of everyday life. Social relationships, communication, information, and social participation are increasingly taking place in digital spaces as well. This creates new challenges, but also new opportunities for social work.
The part-time certificate program Social Work in the Digital Space equips you with the professional, methodological, and technical skills you need to work professionally in digital contexts. You will explore digital environments and social inequality, learn about methods of digital streetwork and online counseling, and develop your own practical skills for digital social work.
The certificate program is aimed at social work professionals as well as individuals interested in new digital fields of practice. The goal is to empower you to professionally engage with digital spaces, reach target groups there, and design digital offerings in a professionally reflective manner.
