Arts & Cultural Management Masters: professional & career prospects

The professional, distance-learning Masters programme in Arts and Cultural Management has an international focus, and opens up wide-ranging career prospects in the management of international cultural organisations. Graduates will be able to prepare their organisations for future challenges and to develop creative solutions.

For example, the programme equips students for work in the various aspects of international cultural projects, in research and in developing and running cultural events and services for an international target audience. It also trains students for arts and cultural management teaching positions.
Alongside all forms of cultural organisation, typical employers include agencies, universities and non-profit organisations (NGOs) in a wide range of fields such as:

  • Museums and galleries
  • Theatres
  • Concert halls
  • Events management agencies
  • Culture offices and units
  • Publishing houses
  • The tourism industry
  • Culture departments in profit and non-profit organisations
