Corporations are challenged to account for their environmental, social and economic impacts to transparently report to internal and external stakeholders. The certificate enables you to assess sustainability performances systematically and holistically. You learn how to use data to improve the long-term value creation of your organisation with methods of sustainability management control.
After an overview of relevant areas of sustainability accounting and how indicators can be deducted from non-financial reporting frameworks of CSR-D and GRI, you familiarise yourself with different theoretical frameworks, methods, and indicators for the assessment of monetary and non-financial values. In a practice-based module you learn how to account for material flow costs to analyse potential environmental or financial impacts and improvement potentials of production processes and products.
