Study Digital Health: Certificate course

Study Digital Health: Fit for the digitalisation of the health sector

The programme is offered in the German language and is thus directed at prospective students with a good command of German. The programme’s German-language web pages provide detailed information needed on the content of the course and application procedures.

The health sector is becoming increasingly digital: professionals and managers from the health sector must therefore be appropriately prepared for the new challenges that come with it. In the Digital Health certificate programme, you will deal with various facets of digitalisation in the field of prevention and health promotion in two extra-occupational semesters. After a general introduction to health concepts and definitions as well as legal, ethical and economic aspects of prevention and health promotion, you will focus on digital health promotion as well as quality and evaluation criteria of digital health measures. In addition, you will deal with digital learning, media pedagogy and information technology as well as forms of online communication for health-relevant aspects. You will benefit from further education at Master of Public Health level, which will prepare you in the best possible way for leadership and management tasks in the health sector and provide you with the necessary tools to lead your company or health care organisation safely through the challenges of advancing digitalisation.
