Decarbonisation Management: Certificate course

Further education Climate Change Management

The programme is offered in German and is thus directed at prospective students with a good command of German language skills. The programme’s German-language web pages provide detailed information needed on the content of the course and application procedures.

On the way to a Zero Carbon Economy, companies are challenged to avoid greenhouse gases - and to do so comprehensively, permanently and transparently. You will learn how to strategically develop and implement a successful decarbonisation of products and processes in a part-time and practical manner.

You will receive an introduction to the relevant climate legislation and learn to assess which climate-related risks and adaptation measures you should take into account. You will acquire knowledge on the preparation and reporting of an IT-supported greenhouse gas balance and on carbon footprint analysis as the basis of your climate strategy. You will discuss with scientists and practitioners what kind of measures have which climate-relevant impact and how products can be designed and communicated "net zero".

The certificate starts for the first time in April 2023. For further information, please order our information material and sign up for our newsletter.
