InteSA
Are you a social worker or social education worker who earned your university degree abroad? Through the “InteSA” project, we support you on your path to a career in social work or social education.
To this end, we work with you personally to assess which qualifications you already possess and which skills you still need to obtain state recognition as a social worker in Germany as quickly as possible. We then support you in acquiring the missing knowledge through individual counseling services and part-time professional development courses. The free qualification program, which is supported by the International Center and the Institute for Social Work and Social Pedagogy, is conducted in German.
Enrollment for the next cohort is open on a rolling basis until July.
Next dates: rolling entry is possible

Project goals
The aim of the project is to offer foreign skilled workers tailored support to pave their way into the German labour market. Through targeted networking events and exchanges with practice partners, participants are prepared not only professionally but also practically for their professional future in Germany in order to be able to take up employment appropriate to their qualifications.
With the InteSA project, we want to make a valuable contribution to overcoming the glaring shortage of skilled workers in the field of social work by creating an integrative environment in which foreign skilled workers can realise their full potential.
