Lean Construction Expert according to VDI 2553: Certificate course
Practice-oriented further education at Master level
The programme is offered in the German language and is thus directed at prospective students with a good command of German. The programme’s German-language web pages provide detailed information needed on the content of the course and application procedures.
Construction projects are becoming more complex, and competitive pressure is increasing. Attracting qualified specialists to a company on a long-term basis is becoming a challenge. Defects and disruptions in the construction process extend the construction period and increase costs. What can the construction management of the future look like?
Lean Construction offers principles and methods for the efficient realization of construction projects. The analytical as well as holistic view of planning and construction processes enables their continuous improvement based on measurable key figures. You will learn to optimize processes along the entire value chain. You will be familiar with cooperative contract models and understand the construction law implications of their application.
The "human perspective" and informal organization play a decisive role in construction projects. This is where the further education program Lean Construction Expert according to VDI 2553, developed in close cooperation with the successful part-time master's program in Construction Law and Construction Management, comes in.
