Information for Prospective Students
Information Admission and Selection process 2020
At Leuphana we especially value your academic curiosity, your profound specialized interest and your commitment, not only to your studies, but also to society. From the very beginning, we therefore designed our admission and selection process to integrate a wide range of professional, performance-related and social-intercultural skills.
This makes it all the more difficult for us to make some minor and major adjustments to the admission and selection criteria for the 2020 application process due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Our primary goal must be to provide a fair admission and selection process for all of you, regardless of any Corona-related restrictions. This requires both flexibility and limitation regarding various aspects: flexibility in the time limits and a limitation to the criteria that we believe can be met even in times of the Covid-19 Pandemic.
This does not change our goal described: We offer you inspiring courses of studies in a special community and on a unique campus, which you will hopefully be able to enjoy soon.
During the Corona Crisis we are on hand with advice and support for students and all other prospective students. As the campus remains closed, we have shifted our services to the digital space.

Application and Admission process
If you decide upon studying at Leuphana College, we look forward to receiving your application starting May 15th 2020. Due to the Corona Crisis, this year we unfortunately will have to do without our established, differentiated selection procedure with study ability tests and selection interviews. This means that you must submit your complete application documents to the Student Service by July 15th 2020. (ATTENTION! This deadline may be postponed further due to dynamic developments!). Places to the study programmes will be allocated based on a ranking list, which is made up of the grades of the university entrance qualification and the points for the proven extracurricular achievements. This year there will be NO invitation to test and interview! All information about applying to Leuphana College can be found on the following pages:
https://www.leuphana.de/en/college/application.html
If you are interested in studying to become a teacher for the subjects of Sport or Music, please note the following:
1. The aptitude test for the subject Sport will be omitted this year.
2. This year the artistic aptitude test for the subject Music will take place exclusively in a digital form. Please note that you have to register until April 30th 2020 for this examination.
