Funding
Equal Opportunities Fund of the Faculty of Management and Technology
- Goal: Promotion of measures in the context of gender-specific choices of the fields of study, and equality and diversity within the faculty. In addition, the aim is to make visible the existing and newly conceived activities in these areas. The school also strives to promote a culture of participation across the breadth of its disciplines with these means.
- Funding: €5,000 p.a.
- Application procedure: Applications are to be submitted to the Dean’s Office of the School of Management and Technology at dekanat.mt@leuphana.de before implementation. The Representative for Equal Opportunities and the Dean’s Office check eligibility for funding and take a decision on funding.

Promotion of activities in the context of internationalization, in particular within the framework of the school’s internationalization strategy
- Goal: Promotion of appropriate measures
- Funding: max. 50% of the costs, maximum budget of 30,000€ p.a.
- Application procedure: Applications are to be submitted to the Dean’s Office of the School of Management and Technology at dekanat.mt@leuphana.de before implementation.

Support of networking and transfer activities, risk insurance
- Goal: Risk insurance, pre-financing of conferences; contributions to impact and transfer activities. The Dean’s Office takes over and participates in pre-financing of conferences and larger events with the funds from the steering reserves.
- Funding: no subsidies, risk insurance. Grants can be applied for via the Faculty Council.

Subsidies for projects from the steering reserve
- Goal: A subsidy for projects from the steering reserves
- Funding: individual
- Application procedure: A grant from the faculty can only be issued if
(a) the grant is applied for in time to allow the Faculty Council to deal with the application before the requested funds begin to be spent
(b) the application is accompanied by a detailed statement of the planned costs. In principle, only costs which (i) can be clearly allocated to the project and (ii) are paid via Leuphana cost centres are to be considered.
c) All subsidized projects or measures are expected to contribute to the perception of the school. The requested funds are therefore generally allocated only after a corresponding measure is in place, for example a (press) release for the internal and/or external communication of the school.

Financing costs for student assistants in program selection processes
- Goal: Financing of 1 student assistant hour per 10 valid applications for the pre-selection of applications for the M.Sc. Management and Engineering.
- Funding: In the M&E selection procedure, funding of 1 student assistant hour per major can be applied for per 10 valid applications.
- Application procedure: Informal applications must be submitted to the Dean of Studies Graduate School or to dekanat.mt@leuphana.de.

Financing printing costs for large written exams
- Goal: Printing costs for large exams (<100) can be handled by the Dean’s Office.
- Funding: individual, amounts starting at €100; printing costs for smaller exams are to be paid through the personal budget of the respective teaching faculty.
