Through a practical, creative approach and the use of innovative teaching methods, this English-language minor provides students with a thorough introduction to the fundamentals and applications of artificial intelligence: from how it works and its benefits to the question of when its use should be deliberately avoided.

The Minor AI, which is administered by the Institute of Information Systems in the School of Management & Technology,  is part of the “Leuphana AI Campus” project. Through this project, Leuphana University Lüneburg is developing a teaching and learning framework – unique in Germany – for comprehensive AI literacy education. The goal is to integrate artificial intelligence as both a subject of study and a pedagogical tool across all stages of study, from the bachelor’s degree through to the doctorate. The “Leuphana AI Campus” is funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education.

We wish all students in the Minor Artificial Intelligence a smooth start, continued creative, interactive, and hands-on work, and every success in their studies!
