While Achim Wambach argues that the CID could strengthen the EU’s competitiveness by reducing bureaucracy, Patrick Velte counters that rolling back sustainability regulations could undermine both climate neutrality and competitiveness. After all, green business strategies can also be an important driver of competitiveness for the EU.
