Successfully shaping the transformation

2023-10-11 Premiere on 23 November 2023: The "Day of the School of Management & Technology" enters the limelight for the first time.

The School of M&T at Leuphana has a unique profile in Germany. It considers itself a co-creator of Twin Transformation, which must be anchored locally and regionally. Digitalisation and sustainability have to be thought of and developed together.

Four disciplines conduct research and teaching in diversity. They contribute to the development of solutions for companies and public organisations. With this year's theme "Successfully shaping transformation", the School is engaged in this socially important debate. Students, alumni, companies, civil society organisations, and interested citizens are warmly invited.

Interdisciplinary research

In order to successfully shape the transformation, it is necessary to bundle research and development areas in an interdisciplinary way. Together with practitioners, we arrive at new insights and apply them in a targeted manner.

Since our realignment in 2022, we - the School of M&T - have been integrating four scientific disciplines along relevant profile topics in research, teaching, and transfer: business administration, engineering, business informatics and business psychology.

We will update you on the current state of research on the topic of "transformation" in our Management & Technology focus.

We will discuss with you - representatives from regionally and nationally active companies, civil society organisations and politics, the alumni as well as the student body - the following questions, among others:

  • How can transformation in business and society be successfully shaped?
  • How can our research help companies and organisations?
  • And how do digitalisation and sustainability in the Twin Transformation combine to create solutions in practice?

Please register by 20 November 2023.
Registrations can also be sent to Markus Lemmens at: markus.lemmens@leuphana.de

We promise you an exciting afternoon and evening with a varied programme in which 26 academic representatives of the faculty will participate.
