New publication by Christian Pfeifer in Industrial Relations (3/2026)

Prof. Dr. Christian Pfeifer (Institute of Economics, Leuphana University Lüneburg) has published jointly with Prof. Dr. Jens Mohrenweiser (Stralsund University of Applied Science) a paper about „Organizational Fairness Perceptions, Employee Representation, and Firm Performance“ in Industrial Relations. The authors show empirically that collective contracts and works councils are correlated with organizational justice perceptions of workers, which in turn can explain part of the productivity premium of collective contracts.
