Become a peer mentor today and help international students settle in

A low-threshold peer mentoring program is designed to foster an exchange among peers. Students employed as Student Assistants will meet regularly and consistently with new international master’s students to share their practical knowledge during thematic peer sessions and at Mensa Monday. The goal is to help new students get started with their studies, the faculty, and the university; to share tacit knowledge about daily life and academic matters; and to strengthen the sense of community within the degree programs. This is not intended to replace existing programs, such as the International Center’s Buddy Program, but rather to complement them.

We are currently seeking three Student Assistants to serve as peer mentors for the 2026/27 winter semester.
