Event series 15 years School of Sustainability: Sustainability and Schools - Strangers or Friends?

We are celebrating 15 years School of Sustainability at Leuphana with a series of events during the anniversary semester WS 2025/26.
Who? Institute for Education for Sustainable Development and Transdisciplinary Research (SETRI), Research Group on ESD and Science Education in cooperation with the UNESCO Chair “Higher Education for Sustainable Development”
What? Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is a fundamental educational concept to make schools fit for the future. In a short panel discussion and an interactive exhibition at the Museum Lüneburg, we will showcase the potential of ESD for contemporary school education. SETRI will provide insights into current research in teacher education, and selected schools as well as other educational partners will present how they implement ESD in practice.
The event is aimed at school stakeholders and those interested in education in and around Lüneburg.
