With the new certificate programme "Digital Entrepreneurship", entrepreneurial skills are to be expanded and oriented towards the digital transformation.

Traditional entrepreneurship is facing major changes and challenges due to the digital transformation. The new part-time certificate programme "Digital Entrepreneurship" deals, among other things, with concepts of strategic management in the digital economy and the networking of companies into digital ecosystems. Students receive an overview of digital technologies such as cloud, blockchain, augmented reality and virtual reality and learn how these can be used in a business context. They deal with barriers and design options in the introduction of digital innovations in organisations and learn about New Ways of Working that consider leadership and work organisation in the digital context. With the new certificate programme "Digital Entrepreneurship", entrepreneurial skills are to be expanded and oriented towards the digital transformation.

The certificate programme teaches parts of the content of the part-time Master's programme "MBA Digital Transformation Management": "We combine current teaching content with innovative teaching formats and incorporate the students' experiences," says programme director Prof. Dr. Paul Drews. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the topic of digital transformation, bachelor's degrees from all disciplines qualify for admission to this university certificate.

The courses are offered digitally and take place in the evenings and on weekends. Interested students can take up the two-semester programme both in summer and winter. CPs acquired from the certificate programme can be credited for later admission to the MBA programme.
