Autonomous Teaching (ASta): Philosophy for Everyone

2025-11-12

Every semester, ASta Lüneburg offers an independent, autonomous teaching offer – teaching by students for students.

This semester, a weekly philosophy meeting is being offered, which takes place every Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in room C40.501

"Philosophy for Everyone - Building a Community of Inquiry through Creative, Critical & Caring Thinking

This seminar is supposed to be more the late-night philosophy round at the kitchen table, rather than a hardcore debate battlefield.
Are you more yourself when you are alone, or when you are with others?
Does art belong more to the artist or to the audience?
Can you fully rectify a mistake that can’t be undone?
Is imagining something another way of experiencing it?
Can a question be more important than an answer?
This seminar introduces Philosophy for Children (P4C) – an inquiry-based pedagogy for all ages that fosters critical, creative, and caring thinking through dialogue. Together we will form a community of inquiry: forming our own questions, reflecting together, and exploring diverse perspectives.
Each session will include inquiry rounds based on creative impulses, games, and question-building. Whether you feel shy – or outspoken: every voice matters, and all ways of participating are welcome.

Internationals welcome! Languages: English & German.
