Successfully securing external funding is a key component of an academic career – but this requires an understanding of the funding opportunities available. This event provides an overview of the research funding landscape in Germany. We will look at key funding bodies, distinguish between different funding approaches (as not all grant applications are the same) and examine a selection of funding schemes.
