Freedom as Acting together and the search for a new Relation to Nature

Freedom for Arendt is speaking and acting together. This for her is politics. Arendt talks about people and we are people. In that sense teaching-learning-collaboration in class can represent this freedom.
Nature is not included in Arendt’s thinking. But we are concerned about our relation to nature. Philosophers, sociologists and others demand a new relation between culture and politics on the one side and nature on the other, in other words new politics. What would freedom be in this new relation? Talk and conversation will be around this tension and probe ideas, some of which emerged in discussions in class during recent winter term.
